The Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) was founded in 1998 with the mission to increase interest and knowledge in interdisciplinary applied entrepreneurship at its member universities. As of 2013 those members are the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), Karolinska Institutet (KI), the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack), and Stockholm University (SU). SSES has three key areas of operations; academic education, hands-on training activities and inspirational events. == Organisation == SSES consists of a team of faculty and staff members in addition to a large number of domestic and international guest experts contributing to its activities annually. In each of the five member institutions SSES is represented by its local SSES Competence Centre, consisting of a team led by a Centre Director who is a local academic of note. The President of SSES is Nick Kaye.
